Noise barrier walls are used to decrease sound from highways, railways, or to create privacy from any source of disturbance. Certified by the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario as a Designated Source Material, our sound barriers are held to the strictest quality standards. With many different colours and accessories to choose from, Design Concrete can customize our noise barriers to suit your projects’ requirements.

Design Concrete has the quality, experience and production capability to make your next noise wall project “on-time” and “on-budget”. Sound By Design precast noise barrier walls are a great way to provide a quiet environment for nearby residents of roadway traffic, railway noise or privacy from any source of disturbance. Sound By Design features maintenance free modular panels in an authentic stone replicated pattern at the fraction of the cost of real stone masonry.
Our precast noise barrier panels are one of only two MTO certified products designated for use on provincial roads in Ontario. During the certification process our product endured quality and testing standards that are among the highest in the industry, ensuring a product that can stand the test of time.
The precast concrete panels which measure nominally 2 feet high, by up to 12 feet long can be assembled to meet desired heights and are available in a variety of colour accents to achieve the look of natural stone. Accessories such as post veneers, post caps and coping can be added to provide an aesthetically pleasing wall suiting almost any design.

Anti-graffiti treatments can be applied during the production process upon request. Our anti-graffiti coating is a non-toxic, non-corrosive product which will not harm the environment.
