Design Concrete has the quality, experience and production capability to make your next sound barrier project a success. Sound By Design™ precast noise barriers are a great way to provide a quiet environment from nearby road traffic, railway noise or privacy from any source of disturbance. Sound By Design™ features maintenance free modular panels in a wide variety of colors and textures.
Our precast noise barriers are designated by the MTO for use on provincial roads in Ontario. During the certification process our product endured quality and testing standards that are among the highest in the industry, ensuring a product that can stand the test of time.
The precast noise barrier panels; which measure nominally 2 feet high, by 12 feet long can be assembled to meet desired heights. Panels are available in a variety of solid or semi-transparent color accents to achieve the look of natural stone. Accessories such as post veneers, post caps and coping can be added to provide an aesthetically pleasing wall suiting almost any design.

GFRP REBAR (GLASS FIBER REINFORCED POLYMER)
Design Concrete has chosen Schoeck Canada to offer “COM-Bar”, a glass fiber reinforced polymer reinforcement bar. GFRP rebar has a higher tensile strength, is resistant to corrosion and much lighter that steel. For more information please visit our GFRP REBAR page or www.schoeck-canada.com .
ANTI-GRAFFITI TREATMENTS
Anti-graffiti treatments can be applied to the concrete sound barriers during the production process upon request. Our standard anti-graffiti coating is a non-toxic, non-corrosive product which will not harm the environment. For more info visit the ANTI-GRAFFITI product page
